It’s hopeless.

I know that.

Just like I know that he doesn’t realise, has *never* realised, the way that I feel about him.

All the pranks and hugs and affectionate little touches have meant nothing to him. No, that’s not fair, they just haven’t meant *as* much to him.

Like that night at the gallery when his tongue met mine & he laughed - because it was a joke, just fun between mates.

But it’s never just been that to me.

I see him now, wrapped in Orlando’s arms and realise that I know something else.

Viggo can never be mine.
